Starhawk

Starhawk is a Third-Person Shooter with RTS gameplay elements and an Old Western feel, released in 2012 exclusively for play on PlayStation 3. In it players traverse an energy-hungry gameworld as a gun-for-hire, always impacted by the fact that the only resource that can save humanity also is tainted with the capacity to physically mutate individuals. Game features include: an engrossing single player campaign and a complicated hero character, the ability to alter the battlefield and call for vehicles and airstrikes, land and air vehicles, online community features, and co-op and large-scale online multiplayer support.

In the future, humanity's last hope lies in the lawless frontier of space where factions battle over the universe's most precious resource, Rift Energy. But as with all sources of power, there is a price to be paid for their use and abuse. Close contact with Rift Energy can be physically dangerous, and has created a powerful class of mutants, know as Outcasts. Caught in the middle the power struggle for this resource is Emmett Graves, an Outcast gunslinger who is drawn back to the planet that abandoned him, to face a fierce outlaw and his warband of followers.
